At VT Grand View Farm we focus on low impact sustainable farming with attention to raising high quality Gotland sheep, which conform to Swedish standards, and producing heirloom wool felted, knitted, and handwoven products. We value the local community of people who support us in our farming efforts. Our farm has always been a place of connecting others to rural farm life, local food sources, and local agriculture through farmstay vacations and on farm classes and workshops. From her barn studio, Kim also offers textile workshops in felting, natural dyeing and fiber preparation. She offers consulting and workshops to new shepherds, giving them the confidence they need to raise sheep. Kim has written a series of ebooks and put together video mini courses for new shepherds. Kim feels strongly in the importance of passing her knowledge of farming and handwork to the next generation.
