Yarn 4 Good offers beautiful yarn, hand-dyed in small batches with natural materials to support important causes. Every purchase this year supports The Innocence Project which is working to release wrongly incarcerated people in the USA. All my profits since 2020 have gone to causes that work toward justice and fairness.
I source the skeins in NH and from other US makers* and gather the natural dyeing materials primarily from our Jaffrey NH garden and kitchen. Marigolds, goldenrod, birch leaves, acorns and more result in wonderful colors to knit, crochet, weave or create crafts. The alchemy and surprise never fail to delight me when I pull the wet yarns out of their bath!
*One of my goals in joining the NE Fibershed is to find wholesale/affordable sources so I can source all of my yarn from New England.
