Hands Across Fiber Farm
Ware, MA
Greer Doble (they/them) and Hellie Lamb (she/her) are experimenting with growing flax on a larger-than-garden scale for fiber in western Massachusetts, as well as smaller amounts of dye plants and other textile materials. Currently, they have grown about 4500 square feet of flax, and are working on processing it. They are not selling anything at the moment, but seek to connect with other flax farmers, perhaps to cooperatively pool resources and process linen at a mill.
